Look no further though, we\u2019re here to help you. In this blog, we\u2019re diving into the best timelines when studying for NCLEX. We&#8217;ll cover what you should be doing two weeks, four weeks, six weeks, and six months before taking your board exam.\n<\/span>\n<h2>Timelines When Studying for the NCLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/h2>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However far away the NCLEX is for you, we have valuable information on how you can best prepare.\u00a0<\/span>\n<h3>6 Months Before NCLEX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Congratulations on starting very early with your studies. You are giving yourself time to study both all the most important information as well as plenty of time to focus on areas you might be struggling with.\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The best way to start is by laying out a week-by-week and day-by-day study plan in your planner. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start by assigning weeks to particular topics and be sure to include topics you struggle with more than one time. Reviewing difficult material over the course of a few months will make it less overwhelming and help it stick when you see it over and over again.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t forget to plan it into your schedule to take advantage of your professor&#8217;s office hours, group study, and special lectures or webinars along the way!\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Align your study tools with your study plan. For each subject, you\u2019ll be studying and reviewing it\u2019s a great idea to align your study tools to help your review and make sure you\u2019re retaining what you are learning.\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create playlists in Picmonic to go along with your topic of study each week. Prepare for the exam seriously and have a study plan, but don\u2019t have studying take over your life. Remember to still set aside time for adequate sleep, exercise, and whatever you like to do for fun! If you are two weeks or less out from taking your NCLEX, keep going over the basics and get into a good routine of studying and test taking. Remember to incorporate adequate sleep, healthy meals, and light exercise in the last couple of weeks of your journey! Begin thinking about test day and visualize what that is going to look like for you. Where is the testing center? Where are you going to park? Do I have all my documents ready? What are you going to wear (think layers!)? 400;\">Give yourself a pat on the back, you\u2019ve been studying so hard and deserve to get sleep and some time to decompress before your exam.\u00a0 Avoid cramming a bunch of information in the last 48 hours. It can cause much-unneeded anxiety right before test day. Instead, try to completely relax.\u00a0<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take the morning before the test to calm your nerves.
